Earwax Removal Co. was founded in 2022 after many years offering this service through the NHS. We were aware that some areas in West Yorkshire did not have access to these services.
Our aim is to deliver a professional accredited earwax removal service in the comfort of your own home.
We are qualified NMC registered nurses and the service is CQC registered to ensure quality for our clients. All staff have up to date DBS certificates.
We are a small friendly team who recognise the significant impact that blockages in the ears can cause.
We have helped many clients over the years and wish to continue this for years to come.
Our Lead Nurse
Our lead nurse Bronte Sykes has been a nurse for over 10 years. Bronte is an advanced nurse prescriber with a vast array of qualifications in multiple health conditions.
Bronte has performed earwax removal services her whole career, starting with irrigation and then moving into microsuction.
Microsuction is mainly carried out in hospital settings but certain areas over the years have offered this in settings like doctors surgeries.
“I have always enjoyed performing earwax removal because it is often an instant relief for the client.
I have seen many impacts on daily life as a result of earwax blockages, some minor and some major.
As an example I saw a client who they thought had worsening dementia due to a sudden lack of communication, however when I removed the wax she could hear again and communicate.
I have seen elderly people at home leaving doors unlocked because they could not hear the doorbell.
I have been to a clients house who had no idea the fire alarm was beeping to indicate that the battery was low.
I have had clients who have struggled at work due to a lack of hearing.
Earwax is categorised as a minor health condition but it affects one of your senses, which I would argue is major.
I love my job and offer an impeccable service. I treat my clients as I would treat my own family.”
